hoe ons te bereiken per trein via het dichtstbijzijnde station?
het dichtstbijzijnde station is Brugge-Sint-Pieters. Deze ligt op +/- 550m van onze b&b. Als je het station verlaat, kom je uit op de Sint-Pietersstatiedreef. Die neem je naar rechts. Tussen huisnummers 46 en 47, sla je linksaf een straatje in (zie ook foto hieronder). Je bevindt zich nu op de historische site van de borstelfabriek. Je volgt het straatje dat een bocht naar rechts neemt en slaat dan links af. Ons huis, is de verste loods op je linkerkant.
how to reach us with the train via the nearby train station?
the closest train station is Brugge-Sint Pieters. This station is located at approximatly 550m from our b&b. When leaving the station, please take the Sint-Pietersstatiedreef to the right. Keep on walking till number 46. Take the small road between houses on 46 and 47 to the left (see photo below). You are now on the historical site of the broom factory. Follow the street, it will make a 90-degree turn to the right and then take the first to the left. Our house is the furthest on your left hand side.

We zijn aan ons avontuur gestart!
Het verbouwen van een oude loods tot een b&b is onze uitdaging. Zoveel mogelijk zelf doen, met een beperkt budget. Renoveren hebben we al eens gedaan met ons eigen huis, maar een b&b met 5 slaapkamers is toch net iets uitdagender dan een kleine eengezinswoning. De Steenkaai is gelegen aan de rand van Brugge, de ideale uitvalsbasis om het historische centrum te bezoeken, te genieten van het culinaire, het Brugse ommeland te verkennen.
The adventure has started!
Transforming an old factory building into a b&b is our challenge. DIY with a limited budget, we have renovated before, but a b&b with 5 bedrooms is another level. The ‘Steenkaai’ is situated on the outer edge of Bruges City. Ideal for visiting the historical city centre, enjoying the culinary restaurants or discovering the beautiful country side.
